EPF, SOCSO and EIS explained for Malaysian employees

Three statutory schemes apply to most Malaysian employees:
- EPF (KWSP) — retirement savings. Standard employee rate is 11% and employer 12–13%.
- SOCSO (PERKESO) — workplace injury, invalidity. Based on a contribution schedule.
- EIS (PERKESO) — loss-of-employment support. Around 0.2% each.
